Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Employment of Sri Lanka, Arun Hemachandra and Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Tรผrkiye, Enver ฤฐskurt signed the Protocol Amending the Air Transport Agreement between Sri Lanka and Tรผrkiye in Ankara on 27 October 2026.
The signing of the protocol marks a significant juncture in strengthening bilateral cooperation in civil aviation and further developing air connectivity between the two countries.
The Protocol is expected to facilitate enhanced cooperation in air transport, supporting tourism, trade, investment and people-to-people exchanges between Sri Lanka and Tรผrkiye.
